The Account Information page can be opened by clicking on the FilesAnywhere toolbar button.

There are several options available for upgrading or downgrading your account:

  1. To Upgrade your current plan, click the "Upgrade" button and select the new plan size you want.  Your account size will be switched to the new drive plan, and your account will be charged for the remaining unused period from your previous drive plan.  You can also update billing information on this page.

  2. To Downgrade your current plan, the same process is followed - click the "Upgrade" button and select the new (downgraded) plan size that you want.  Your account size will be switched to the new drive plan, and your account will be automatically credited for the remaining unused period of the drive plan you had before the downgrade.  This credit cannot be refunded; the credit is automatically applied toward charges the next period.

Can I share my account login with other people?

No. If you need to provide access to multiple users, FilesAnywhere has several options. A FilesAnywhere Workgroup is designed to setup multiple user accounts and consolidate billing on your account, so you can provision multiple accounts using the same credit card. You can enroll the other person in their own plan, allowing you to share files equally between your accounts, or with selective permissions.

The FilesAnywhere Private Site plan provides multi-user licensing with an array of other features designed for professional collaboration.

Your account Login is licensed to you and can only be used by you. Each person accessing FilesAnywhere must have their own account user license. Accounts are non-transferable, even for temporary purposes. The FilesAnywhere license allows one registered person to use each account.

If you need to transfer your license, you will need to close the old account and start a new account -- unless you are transferring the total use of the user account to another person who is employed by the same company, and use of the account will never be transferred back to you. You may access your FilesAnywhere account from any computer, but sharing accounts is not authorized within the limits of the account license. Users violating this rule are subject to permanent ban. You can use the "File Share" feature to share files to anyone, even non-users. If your colleague needs to evaluate FilesAnywhere prior to starting a new account, the a trial account can be used.
