The File Share feature provides one-step file sharing for all paid members (this feature is not available during the 30-day trial). Files can be shared with anyone, including non-members, using a simple web-based link to shared files. An email message is sent to your chosen recipients containing a link to your files.
This works well for sharing files on a short-term basis, and to non-users. This method is secure, since you can assign a separate password for the share, and the link is accessed via SSL "Secure Socket Layer". SSL encrypts every packet to and from your computer using an SSL Web Login, WebDA No software to install, since WebDAV is built into most operating systems. Using this feature, you can Open, Edit and Save remote files directly from your applications. Also Copy/Paste or Drag-n-Drop between your local computer and the mapped FilesAnywhere folder.V or SFTP Backups. VeriSign Certificates with 1024-bit RSA key are so strong, it would take 3 Million years to break using a $10M super computer! This limit is visible on the File Share page, showing you how many file sharing links are still available to be used as of the current time. In most cases, you will not be affected by this daily limit, unless you use this feature constantly with large distributions.
An email will be sent and recipients will click on a link in the email to directly download your shared files.
