"Session Timeout Reached" error whenever I click on any action?

This session Timeout message is normally displayed after several hours have elapsed since your last interaction with the server. If this happens, you will need to Login again. This is setup for your security, in case you forget to close your session and walk away from a computer terminal. See the above answer if this message continues despite trying to Login again.

Timeout error during File Search?

Since the file search Search File/Folder Names, Text in Files, Metatag Keywords or Comments.  Instantly search files in folders or account-wide. An available Index feature (included with all multi-user accounts) rapidly indexes all readable file content in the account, making word searches lightning-fast, even over thousands of files! Create your own keywords, then "tag" files to search by keyword. feature is a very intensive process on the server, we limit the time taken by this process to support a very large number of users accessing this feature. The search feature is incredibly fast, and all practical searches can be performed within the time allowed. If you reach the Timeout, limit the folders you are searching in, specify the file types (i.e.: *.doc), and try a more exact search phrase.

Why am I getting an error page with the message "Page cannot be displayed"?

This means the web page is not available. This can only happen if your Internet connection was interrupted. If this happens, confirm your network connection (i.e. network cable, wireless connection, or modem), then try to restart your browser and Login again. Confirm connectivity to the Internet by navigating a page that has not already been cached on your system (i.e. check www.cnn.com).  If other sites are working but your still cannot Login, try restarting your PC, in case your DNS cache needs to be flushed or DNS server needs to be reconnected. If the problem persists, suppress any Internet firewall software, which may impede connectivity to certain sites. Please contact customer support for further troubleshooting.

Why am I getting warnings about single quotes and other characters in file names?

Single quotes and other symbols can cause security issues when these characters are parsed from the server and re-displayed in the web browser. Some characters are also not allowed by the Windows file system. You will need to rename all applicable files to remove single quotes or other invalid characters before uploading.

Invalid Common Characters in Filenames

Certain characters are not supported in the remote file or folder name. There are:

\ / .. < > # % & " '

Certain characters may be allowed by your operating system, but are not allowed on FilesAnywhere, due to potential errors in displaying this text via a web page.  For security reasons, characters like the % are not allowed  - browsers may interpret some combinations of characters as executable code.

Try to use only alpha or numeric characters and spaces in your file/folder names to avoid a problem.
