Just right-click any folder and choose "Create File Dropbox" and enter an email address. An email is sent with a simple web link, guiding guests through the Upload. Someone who does not have a login account here can still upload files to your account. The Dropbox feature lets you select any folder and allow anyone to upload files into that folder, without viewing or modifying any of the existing folder contents. When combined with the "Send Files" FileShare f FileShare is a fantastic feature that allows you to share files securely with anyone, even non-members. Just select any file or folder, then type the email addresses of the people you would like to share the files with. An email is sent with a simple web link, prompting your guests to Download any shared files. You can designate any folder as a Dropbox and start receiving files right away.

Files sent to you are already organized into a folder structure you have setup for storage
The service is Free for the guest sender and included in your FilesAnywhere plan at no extra charge
The guest sender is not required to sign-up (unlike other file services that require the guest to register)
The File Dropbox
is not available during the free trial. Paid members can follow these
steps to setup a Dropbox .
Select a Folder

First select a folder that you want to designate as the File Dropbox
. You can create a new folder for this purpose, or use an existing folder.
You can use the folder as you normally would. Making the folder a Dropbox
gives you the added capability of receiving files from selected contacts.
Contacts you choose for the Dropbox can only upload files into the folder.
They cannot view, access or modify the folder contents in any way.
Right-click on
folder and select "Create File Dropbox "

This will open the New File Dropbox screen.
Enter the Email
Addresses of People You Want to Give Dropbox Access

You can enter one email address or multiple email addresses separated
by semi-colons. Each person will receive an email with a link to send
files to you at your Dropbox . You can also use the Lookup Contacts and
Lookup Teams buttons to add email addresses you have stored in your Contact
List.
Create the Dropbox by clicking the "Send Now" button, or
choose any of the Advanced Options before sending.

Advanced Options
Several advanced options extend the functionality of your Dropbox :
Password: Protect the Dropbox with a secret
password.

Expiration: Set the Dropbox link to expire, from
24 hours to 1 year.

Tracking: Record dropped files to a Log or receive
email notifications for each dropped file.

Overwrite: Allow files to be overwritten, or
add an incremental number to duplicate file names.

Message: Add a message to the body of the email.

Confirmation
Once your Dropbox is created and the emails are sent, you will receive
an instant online confirmation:

The Dropbox link will expire according to the Expiration option chosen when creating the share. Links can be maintained for a maximum of 1 year. The default is 10 days. Files uploaded by your contacts via the Dropbox link are limited each day, based on the size of your plan. For example, a 1GB plan supports 200 file uploads per day. Also, the Dropbox feature is not available during the free trial.
All files uploaded to your Dropbox folder are transmitted using an SSL 128-bit encrypted connection. This encryption ensures that the files being sent cannot be intercepted and used by an unauthorized person.
As the recipient of a File Dropbox , you will receive an email from FilesAnywhere containing a web link to the Dropbox .

File Dropbox Page
When you click on the link in the email, the File Dropbox page opens.
Note: If the link is not opening the Dropbox page, click here for instructions.
If a password was defined, a password screen will appear first:

The Dropbox Upload page appears next. From this page, you can upload files to the Dropbox owner's folder.

Using the Dropbox Upload screen, you can upload up to 20 files at . The file sizes can be of practically any size. Select files on the local computer using the "Browse" button. During the upload, a status bar will show the progress, and a confirmation appears when the upload is done:

If you have successfully created a File Dropbox, you may need to resend, edit properties, or remove the link. You may accomplish all of these features by going to all of your Active File Dropbox links page.
To access the page:
click on the 'Advanced Icon' from the Tool Bar.
click on the Dropbox Email Links option from the Advanced Options list
From here you are able to Edit the active link, Remove any active links, or Generate a link for any active links.
