Using GroupShare The GroupShare feature allows you to share any of your folders with other users, assigning either read-only access or full access. Users with Read-only access can only Download files in the folders you are sharing. Users with Full Access can Download and Upload files into your folder. Use GroupShare with full access to collaborate on shared project files that your group can update, or publish files read-only for others to easily download via FilesAnywhere. You can navigate GroupShare folders directly in your Folder Tree, and work with GroupShare files and subfolders the same way you work with your own files and folders. you can share any of your remote folders with other users, and assign different access rights to each user. Users that you add to a shared folder will see your shared folder under their main "GroupShare " folder when they Login.
Select a folder you wish to share, then click on the GroupShare tab or GroupShare button (both open the GroupShare tab). If you change your mind about which folder you want to share, select a different folder and the GroupShare Folder will automatically change to the new selected folder.

The history box will show when the GroupShare was created. You may provide a note for the GroupShare that will be viewed by everyone you share it with.
For each person you wish to share the GroupShare with, enter either their username or their email address then press the Add button. The username or the email address must match exactly with what is currently in our user registration database.
You may assign Read-Only permission or Full Access permission to the share. Read-Only users can only view and download the folder contents. Full Access users have the ability to modify the folder contents completely, so please use caution when assigning Full Access rights to other people - they can delete the entire contents of the GroupShare folder.
Once a folder is shared, a GroupShare person icon will appear alongside the folder in your file tree. Select the folder and click on the GroupShare tab to view or change the GroupShare properties. To modify a person's access level, click on the user and press the "Edit User Permissions" button, assign the new access level and click "Add" to replace the access level in the user list.
After a GroupShare is created, users will see the GroupShare owner's name appear under the "GroupShare " main folder in the folders view. The GroupShare owner's folder will contain all GroupShares made available by the owner to the current user. To optimize performance, the contents of each GroupShare owner folder is not loaded in the web browser until the GroupShare owner name is selected.
GroupShare users do need to Login to view new GroupShares; the Refresh button will not load GroupShares that were added during their current user session.
GroupShare properties are available to all GroupShare users by selecting the GroupShare folder and clicking the GroupShare tab or button. Users may "opt out" of a GroupShare at any time by clicking a button in the GroupShare properties, "Disconnect from this GroupShare ".
