Summary

We are seeking an ambitious, outgoing person with an entrepreneurial drive, some knowledge of web-based applications and preferably a successful track record of winning technology-oriented contracts with businesses of all sizes. 

This person will leverage our existing support and inside sales teams to create new sales opportunities and leads.  This person will also contribute to current marketing programs, strengthen ties with channel partners, attend publicity events and interface with the media.

   
Purpose To develop sales opportunities and generate customer/partner relationships nationally for the FilesAnywhere business. To grow sales volume within the corporate account base in order to achieve agreed sales targets through the sale of FilesAnywhere software, services and solutions.
 
The high growth areas for storage in the corporate account base are: Document Management; Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing; Business-to-Business Communications; Medical; Financial Services; Professional Services; Media/Entertainment. These growth areas and industries have significant impact on sales of FilesAnywhere corporate Private Sites, user licensing and storage volume sales. Knowledge and experience in these areas will be beneficial to the success of the role.
   
Description

Sales Revenue Accountabilities and Functions

  •         Identify and win new storage business solution requirements for FilesAnywhere services.

  •         Work with approved channel partners where appropriate to define, recommend and drive sales of FilesAnywhere services solutions.

  •         Prepare sales proposals and conduct winning customer presentations (approximately 15-25 per quarter), according to FilesAnywhere policy and procedures.

  •         Provide assistance to other members of the FilesAnywhere sales team as required.

  •         Develop a call plan to generate sales leads.  Pursue leads from the FilesAnywhere sales team. Leverage and assist the sales team in expanding the volume of quality sales leads.

  •         Based on customer demand or specific requests, in conjunction with the Product Team, develop appropriate product improvement plans, and coordinate specific customer-driven product changes.

  •         Maintain up-to-date competitive information and compile success stories.

  •         Prepare and implement measurable Business Plans utilizing multi-level sales strategies. These plans will also include how we can work with our partners and customers to provide a professional approach in delivering business solution and customer satisfaction.

  •         Monitor, report and counter competitor sales strategies.

  •         Develop or leverage the sales team in developing engaging marketing materials and web pages for new sales strategies or to enhance marketing material in support of existing sales strategies. 

  •         Provide input to management and the product team on how to improve the product's presentation and usability in order to increase the volume of sales leads and improve customer satisfaction.

  •         Ensure you own personal development is proactive and discuss your needs regularly with management.

  •         Augment the support department in providing follow-through after the sale, to enhance customer relationships and resolve issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with FilesAnywhere.

  •         Provide a weekly report to management summarizing sales activities, prospects, current initiatives, status on open issues, and task progress.

  •         Present sales strategies to management and communicate regularly with management on proposed marketing and product improvements.

Technical Competence:

Experience with computer software, like Windows XP/Vista, Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with general web application terms.

Industry Competence:
 
Working knowledge of business software areas, such as:
-      Document Management, Imaging
-      Business Intelligence, Reporting
-      Collaboration, Workflow
-      Media Streaming, Content Management
-      Archiving, Backup, Data Warehousing
 
Familiarity with basic software lifecycle is helpful:
-      Business Requirements
-      Development, Testing, Implementation
-      Change Management
 
Familiarity with Online Storage is preferred but not required:
-      Upload/Download
-      File Management
-      Backup, Synchronization
-      Sharing and Collaboration

Compensation includes salary plus commission, and benefits.  This is a fulltime position at our office in Dallas, Texas (Irving/DFW area).  Up to 50% travel time may be required. 

Benefits include 100% paid medical insurance for individual coverage and a 100% paid Dental/Vision rider. Salary depends on experience.
