Sorry about the error! The complete
setup file from the previous page (Self-Extracting
Setup File) attempts to run
multiple setup programs automatically, to
make the setup easy.
If you are getting an error, you can
attempt to run each step individually from the below
links.
Please CLOSE ALL APPLICATIONS, make sure you
are logged in with ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS to
the PC, then run the following in order:
1.
Install Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework
Click above, choose
"Run" to install. This
Microsoft software is required. If you
already have it, the setup
program will tell you it's not needed.
Vista Users: this is
already included in the default installation
of Vista, so you can skip this step.
Windows Server 2003: this is included
but usually not installed - go to Add/Remove
Windows components to add it.
2.
Install Microsoft Update for Add-ins in
Office 2003
Click above, choose "Run"
to install. This important "hot fix" update is
only required for Office 2003
(Office XP) users.
3.
Install Microsoft Update for Office Add-ins
Click above, choose
"Run" to install. This
Microsoft update is needed to support
add-ins correctly.
4.
Install Microsoft Update for Extensible Menus in
Office
Click above, choose
"Run" to install. This
Microsoft update is needed to support
add-ins correctly.
5.
Install the FilesAnywhere Outlook Add-In
Click above, choose
"Run" to install. This is the actual Add-in, providing the new Outlook
features that work with your FilesAnywhere account.
Restart Outlook to see the new
"Attach File Link" button.
Exit from Outlook
and reopen Outlook. A new button
called "Attach File Link" will appear
in your main toolbar and in the
"Insert" menu when editing email
messages.

Are you a Workgroup or Site Administrator?
To make the setup process faster for your local users, you can save all required installation
files to a local area network folder at
your company, so your users can run the setup locally. Download the .NET
setup program from the Microsoft site to a local network location for your users
to run. Also download the Self-Extracting Setup file and run that to extract the contents
to a shared folder for your users. Your users will only need to run the
.NET setup and the "Setup.bat" file from the network location (your Windows
Vista users do not need to run the .NET 2.0 Framework installation since it is
already installed with Vista). All of the
above steps will be run automatically by the batch file (setup.bat).
For more information, please refer to the README.TXT file included with the
files extracted by the self-extracting setup.
