Welcome Facebook users!
Use FilesAnywhere to
upload
and share files
with your Facebook friends.
Here's how...
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE 3 STEPS TO START USING
THE FACEBOOK APP:
1.
Register for a FREE 1GB storage account.

Registration
is required. All
you need to start sharing is our Free 1GB account.
Every free account comes with 1GB of file storage space. This is not a
trial - you can keep the free account as long you want. (if you
already have an account at FilesAnywhere, you can skip the signup)
2.
Login to the Share Files app the first
time.

This initializes your new storage account,
and sets up the buttons on your Profile.
3.
Upload some files.
Files you upload to the "Public" folder will be shared
automatically from your Profile.
That's it!
After adding the App,
these buttons will appear on your
Facebook Profile...
Manage Your Folders
From your Profile page: click this button to control all of your folders -
Upload,
Download, Rename, Copy, Share, View files online, and more - all from Facebook.
Share Files to Friends using the Public Folder

From your Profile page: Friends will
see this button. This allows visitors
to view and download all of the files you have added to the
Facebook\Public
folder. To add files to your Facebook\Public folder, just click the
File Manager
button mentioned above.
Friends Can Upload Files to Your Dropbox

From your Profile page: Friends will
also see this button. This allows friends
to upload files to you from your Profile page! All uploaded files
are saved
in a "Dropbox" under your main Facebook folder. You can review,
then move
these files to your Facebook\Public folder, where everyone can see
them.
Share Files via Facebook Messages

From your Profile page: click this button or just click Compose
Message from the
Facebook Inbox. When editing a message, click "Upload and Share Files".
This
prompts you to upload files and will return a web link to the uploaded
files, which can be pasted inside your Facebook message. Your friends can
receive
files of any size, and your files are only shared to your message
recipients, so it's private. All uploaded files
are automatically stored in your Facebook\FileShares folder.
Create Web Links to Files

From your Profile page: use this button to create links to files on-the-fly. You
can copy and paste these shared file links anywhere you want - guests click on
the link to download your files. All uploaded files are stored in your
Facebook\FileShares folder.
Tips
-
You
can paste the shared file links anywhere - not only in Facebook
messages. Paste links into any
standard email message, your profile, your wall page, inside
documents, you get the idea.
-
Links
expire by default after 10 days. To change this setting and other
link options, Login to your
account at FilesAnywhere.com
- click "Profile", then set your own FileShare link
defaults.
