1.
Install the Desktop App for Windows
|
Click the link above to download Desktop for Windows.
|
|
Double-click on the FA Desktop Setup icon.
|
|
The setup will start automatically.
|
|
Use the default steps and click Finish once complete.
|
2.
Start the Desktop Application
|
Double-click icon to activate Desktop Application.
|
|
Enter your username and password.
|
|
A Desktop icon appear in the system tray.
|
|
The Desktop App saves you time by providing direct access to all of the basic file features: uploading, downloading, sharing files, moving, copying, renaming, new folders, and more.
Automatically maps a Network Drive to your account! Drag and drop files directly onto the Uploader icon on your Windows desktop!

|

Install the Microsoft .NET Runtime

Install the Application according to your version of Office:

Office 2003/XP/2002 Outlook Add-in

Click above and RUN the self-extracting EXE in your local drive
|
|
Enter a folder name to put the extracted setup files. ex:C:\Temp
|
|
Double-click Setup.bat and click Allow to Run or OK on each prompt
|
|
When you restart Outlook a new button,
Attach File Link will appear (on main toolbar and Insert menu)
|
|
This advanced Outlook add-in automatically uploads selected files from your local computer to your FilesAnywhere account, then creates a link to send to recipients. Recipients can use the link to access your shared files,to download or view file contents directly online using the Online Viewer.

Note:
|
FileShare Default Settings in your User Profile are used to set the tracking and View options for FileShare links created using this Outlook Add-in. To change the FileShare options, login to your account on FilesAnywhere >> click Profile button >> click the FileShare Defaults . Your changed settings will apply to all new FileShare links created with the Outlook Add-in.

For example, you can change the View type to Media View, so recipients see thumbnails of picture files and they can view documents directly online; check Email notify me when FileShare links are used to receive an email notification whenever a file is accessed.
